Europass and EQF NCP Estonia invite you to the Erasmus+ Open Badges project’s – ABECS Aligning Badges, ESCO and the Certificate Supplement – outcomes seminar that will take place on February 6, 2020 in Tallinn, Proto invention factory (Peetri 10).
The ABECS project was seeking to develop enhanced transcripts as Open Badges, aligning the technological tool of an Open Badge with the information for transparency and mobility found in Certificate Supplements, and the shared terminology for occupations and skills developed through ESCO.
Project objectives were:
- Produce test “Open Badges” aligned to the Certificate Supplement and ESCO taxonomy
- Produce guidance on how to ensure alignment when producing new Badges.
- Propose that the Certificate Supplement becomes a record of an individual learner’s achievement in the form of an enhanced transcript and Open Badge.
- Provide evidence that the ESCO taxonomy can be used, in a multi-lingual environment to record the outputs of learning and recorded via an Open Badge.
- Propose that Open Badges should be incorporated into Europass as part of the impending overhaul and updating of the portfolio.
